Like a modern-day variation of some warped and voyeuristic ancient ritual, Shocking Duel will have you in tears and stitches in equal measure.

The rules couldn’t be simpler. Two ‘lucky’ players each grab a handle and are subjected to a succession of harmless low-level electric shocks, each one lasting a second longer than the last. In a hilariously primitive display of courage or stupidity, the two players struggle to maintain their grip throughout the ordeal.

Once the first round of shocks is over, a second round begins, but this time the shocks will be more powerful than before. Flashing lights and stomach-churning sound effects increase the tension to fever pitch. This sequence continues until one of the players can take no more, sees sense, and releases their grip.

Lazier than nettle hugging, safer than lion taming – if you get your kicks Jackass-style, we think you’ll approve.
