Meet the genuine String Doll family,
originated in Thailand. They are all designed under International copy right by the Saan ha team. Each string doll is prepared with the utmost care and affection. They bring their special powers of love and good fortune to everyone. The String Dolls believe that everyone needs to love and be loved; to be confident; to encourage your own self-belief; to keep your spirits high and of course simply relieve the stress and strain of everyday life. Every individual in the String Doll family is a unique handmade design.

Creating Flourishing Communities
The string voodoo dolls originated in Northern Thailand by a trio of 3 Thai university students. To grow their business they needed a lot of employees that were talented and good with their hands. So, a whole province in Thailand dedicates their time to making these string voodoo dolls by hand. They call this OTOP “One Tambon One Products” which is great for the Thai people and is creating flourishing communities.

How are they made?
High quality dolls are made with one piece of continuous 100% cotton string.
They stitch on specific costumes onto the dolls also.

Why did you name your company Saan_ha?
Taweechai (creator): Saan_ha has two different pronunciations in Thai with different meanings. The first pronunciation means 'selection', while the second means 'very funny'. We initially wanted to go with the first meaning in the trade registration, but that was already taken. So we decided to go with the second meaning for the company name, but the first meaning for the products. Saan_ha works for us because it represents our principle of selecting quality products for our clients.
